The cooler weather yesterday had me firing up the oven for a nice roast chicken with roast vegetables, followed by an apple pie. It finally felt like Fall in our home. Our fresh fruit/vegetable bowl on the table is overflowing. Apples and acorn squash are piled up for later this week. We're already planning our next run to the farmer's market!
What are the harvest-ready dishes you're making now? I'm asking because I'm curious and it's always good to get new ideas... or be reminded of old favorite recipes.

Twins & Yankees on Wed. (We have a rotten record against them, but wait 'til next year) I love the beauty of Fall, but it's always kind of melancholy to me, for what is to come.
Think we'll hold our own against the Yankees?
Good luck. I'm sure folks will be watching.
