I am sure the "red colored morsels" are chocolate but the description sounds like it's fake food. Haha.

Actually, the red morsels are not chocolate.

Ingredient list: Dark chocolate (sugar, chocolate, cocoa butter, milkfat, soy lecithin, natural flavors)
Red colored morsels (sugar, palm kernel oil, milk, nonfat milk, hydrogenated palm oil, red 40 lake, soy lecithin, artificial flavor)

I'm no expert on those types of ingredients, but my guess is the red morsels are blobs of red-colored sugar and fat?

Sassy, thanks for that. I had a feeling there was actually some truth in advertising there. Haha. That food coloring can cause allergic reactions in some people too.
